Job summary

Starboard is hiring its first dedicated growth and marketing hire. You'll own how the market discovers, understands, and trusts Starboard—from a near-blank brand canvas to a repeatable demand engine.

You'll establish our voice online, lead events, build SEO from zero, and stand up the Starboard Light self-serve funnel, partnering with the founder and the commercial team. Compensation includes meaningful early equity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in growth or demand-gen marketing, ideally at a B2B SaaS startup.
• Full-funnel expertise spanning brand-building and performance marketing.
• Proven SEO and content results with measurable traffic and pipeline.
• Strong commercial instinct: pipeline and CAC focus; partner with sales.
• Comfort with ambiguity and bias to ship; able to build brand assets.
• Sharp writing and design sensibility.

Responsibilities

• Brand & online presence: establish voice, identity, and positioning.
• Event marketing: plan and run presence at industry events; coordinate outreach.
• SEO & inbound: build SEO foundations and grow organic traffic.
• Lead generation: design Starboard Light funnel, measure CAC and pipeline; collaborate with product and sales.
