Job summary

MYDENTALWIG in the Los Angeles area is seeking a founding General Counsel & Corporate Secretary to establish legal, governance, and compliance foundations as the company scales. You will lead corporate governance, securities, IP strategy, commercial contracts, privacy, AI governance, and regulatory compliance while coordinating external counsel and building an in-house legal function.

This on-site role reports to the Founder & CEO and is part of the Executive Leadership Team, with equity

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active license and good standing with at least one US state bar.
• Significant experience in corporate law, with in-house and/or major firm background.
• Strong governance, venture financing, and securities law experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish corporate governance framework and governance documents.
• Oversee securities compliance and investor communications.
• Develop IP strategy and handle licensing and technology transfers.
• Lead contract review for strategic partnerships and enterprise agreements.
• Coordinate privacy, cybersecurity, AI governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Build internal legal operations and manage external counsel.
