Job summary

Pelico is building an agentic platform for manufacturers. You’ll be one of the founding engineers, writing code close to customers and factory data, spanning Python backend and React frontend. You’ll ship end-to-end agent capabilities, harden the runtime, and improve evals and observability while collaborating with a small, elite AI-native team.

Qualifications

• Excellent engineer who ships, with real production code experience.
• Able to work full-stack across Python backend and React frontend.
• Able to spec and eval before shipping, and own what goes out including AI-assisted code.

Responsibilities

• Ship agent capabilities end to end from backend to React console.
• Harden the runtime with durable execution, retries, scheduling, and human-in-the-loop approvals.
• Make agents trustworthy by growing the eval harness and catching regressions.
• Build a console with real-time streaming of agent events, tool calls, and approvals.
• Write specs, keep contracts honest, and leave reusable patterns for the team.
