Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with a focus on Agentic AI and external integrations to help design, develop, and operate a cutting-edge Agentic AI platform. The role spans FastAPI/Python backends, React frontends, Docker, and PostgreSQL, with emphasis on secure, scalable production systems and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD with AI/ML exposure or relevant experience.
• Hands-on AI agent development and tool usage.
• Experience with async patterns and modern Python tooling.
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and LLM integration.
• Ability to operate in fast-moving environments with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Design and build integrations to external data sources and partner systems.
• Package capabilities as agent tools with clean interfaces and documentation.
• Develop full-stack components using FastAPI/Python, React, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and consume web APIs with authentication, pagination, and caching.
• Implement workflow orchestration with Airflow/Prefect/Celery or equivalents.
• Integrate LLMs via OpenAI, Anthropic, or AWS Bedrock in production.
• Apply security best practices for secrets, OAuth, and prompt-injection awareness.
• Contribute to platform health across delivery, infra, and runtime operations.
• Collaborate with teams with a product mindset; ensure end-user focus.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on workflows.
