Job summary

davidjoseph-co is seeking a founding engineer in San Francisco, joining a small, YC-backed AI startup building a new category of tooling. You will own the product end-to-end across the full stack, setting the technical foundation as the company scales and working directly with a high-caliber founding team.

You will design and implement agentic and LLM-based systems, build internal tooling, and collaborate with a tight team on research, infrastructure, and shipped product.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of full-stack engineering experience with hands-on Python and React.
• Bachelor's degree in any field (does not need to be CS).
• Strong communication skills to explain technical work to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Own product end-to-end across the full stack and set the technical foundation as the company scales.
• Build and extend a context-management platform powering agentic workflows.
