Job summary

Neuromorphic Labs is building the next generation of AI infrastructure. We are hiring a founding engineer at Staff or Senior level to own major parts of the platform from day one.

You will decide the core platform, stack, and culture with the founding team, and share meaningful equity as we move fast and ship high impact solutions. You will work directly with the CEO, shaping architecture and driving product development across cloud, on‑prem, and hybrid environments while partnering with early

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on engineering experience shipping production software.
• Experience building distributed systems, backend services, or infrastructure platforms with a focus on reliability and performance.
• Knowledge of cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, containerized workloads, service-oriented architectures, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Pulumi, or similar) across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong systems fundamentals: API design, backend architecture, performance, and reliability.
• Strong programming proficiency in Rust or C++, with experience writing performant production grade code.
• High ownership and bias for action in 0-to-1 environments. Comfortable making pragmatic trade-offs and driving work from idea to launch.
• Excellent communication. Ability to work with customers and collaborate with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and operate production-grade features and services.
• Build and run systems that deploy across public cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions with the Product Architects on platform bets.
• Engage in product research: prototype new approaches and evaluate emerging tools.
• Work directly with early customers to translate real-world requirements into capabilities.
• Use AI-driven development workflows as a daily velocity and quality multiplier.
• Help set the bar for engineering quality and craft as the team grows.
