Job summary

Summit Resourcing is seeking a Founding Engineer / Full Stack Engineer to design, build and scale our ground-floor system. You will shape architecture, service boundaries and data models, collaborating directly with the founders in an environment with ambiguity and big ownership.

You’ll work across a Python + TypeScript stack, collaborating on backend APIs, data pipelines and frontend surfaces, influencing CI/CD, observability and testing strategies as the product evolves.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• Experience designing scalable APIs.
• Experience building distributed backend systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, observability, and deployment strategies.
• Able to work with ambiguity and define architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable APIs, service layers and domain models.
• Build distributed backend infrastructure and systems.
• Make architectural trade-offs and guide evolution of the system.
