Job summary

AI Talent Now is seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join our senior team in the Mountain View area. You will own the full stack from Python/FastAPI backend to React frontend, interface with enterprise customers, and help shape our product and culture from the ground up.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in full-stack roles, startup experience (VC-backed preferred) and a track record of promoting within teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own product and infrastructure areas end-to-end, from problem identification to shipping, including architectural decisions.
• Work closely with co-founders and influence the product roadmap and company strategy.

We are looking for a Founding Full Stack Engineer with 5-7 YOE to join our small, senior-level team building AI-powered customer lifecycle management. We are looking for a generalist engineer who can work across the full stack (Python/FastAPI backend-heavy, React frontend), interface with customers, and help shape our product and culture from the ground up. This is a critical hire to help us scale and service our growing customer pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and APIs (Python, FastAPI) and frontend experiences (React) across the full stack
• Work directly with enterprise customers to understand use cases and co-build custom AI agents and workflows
• Own product and infrastructure areas end-to-end, from problem identification to shipping, including architectural decisions
• Collaborate closely with the co-founders and have a significant influence on the product roadmap and company strategy.
• Operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, taking ownership of outcomes from problem identification to shipping features.

Requirements

• Seniority
• 5 - 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering.
• Experience at an early-stage, VC-backed (Seed to Series B) startup.
• Experience at a large, well-known tech company (e.g., Google, Meta, etc.) in addition to startup experience.
• Demonstrated promotion history in at least one previous role.
• Education
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
• Python and backend development (FastAPI).
• React or equivalent modern frontend framework.
• Experience or strong interest in applied AI.
• Strong communicator — can interface directly with enterprise customers and translate requirements into features.
• California-based strongly preferred (SF Bay Area ideal).
