Clera is hiring a Founding Enterprise Account Executive to own and scale the enterprise sales motion from day one in San Francisco. You will close high-ACV deals, source your own pipeline, and shape GTM strategy with the founders.
You will craft a repeatable enterprise playbook, forecast aggressively, and drive CRM discipline while leveraging AI workflows to accelerate buyer journeys. Remote collaboration with the founding team is implied by the startup context.
An early-stage, AI-native SaaS company in the pricing optimization space is hiring a Founding Enterprise Account Executive to own and scale their enterprise sales motion. This is a ground-floor opportunity to work directly alongside founders, shape go-to-market strategy, and build a repeatable enterprise playbook from scratch — all while closing high-ACV deals that directly influence product direction and commercial success.
The company's platform helps B2B businesses transform pricing from a static exercise into a continuously optimized, data-driven system — spanning willingness-to-pay analysis, deal guidance, packaging design, discount governance, and more.
Own the full enterprise sales cycle end-to-end: self-sourced prospecting, discovery, negotiation, and close.
Run consultative discovery with senior economic buyers — CFOs, CROs, CPOs, and Heads of Monetization.
Carry and accurately forecast an ambitious revenue target while maintaining rigorous pipeline health week to week.
Design, document, and iterate the enterprise sales playbook — covering outreach, qualification, deal structure, commercial terms, and close mechanics.
Partner directly with founders on GTM strategy, ICP definition, and positioning; feed market insight back into product and sales.
Establish CRM discipline and a repeatable operating rhythm for pipeline hygiene, prioritization, and clean forecasting.
Leverage AI agents and sales workflows to automate repeatable buyer-journey tasks, focusing human judgment on key deal moments.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers and translate live deal learnings into actionable product and engineering feedback.
In your first 90 days: ramp on the product and ICP, build pipeline through outbound and inbound, close initial deals, and begin codifying a scalable playbook.
Required:
5–8+ years of enterprise B2B tech sales experience with a proven track record of closing high-ACV deals end-to-end.
Demonstrated success owning and exceeding revenue targets with self-generated pipeline — not reliant on inbound alone.
Strong experience running multi-stakeholder enterprise deals and building consensus up to the C-level.
Proficiency with CRM and sales-engagement tooling (e.g., Salesforce, Gong) and experience building automations for repeatable sales tasks.
Comfort working with AI-driven workflows and directing AI tools in a sales context.
Strategic, analytical approach to market assessment paired with creative, tactical execution.
High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
Professional fluency in English.
Nice to Have:
Experience selling pricing, monetization, CPQ, or billing solutions.
Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
On-target earnings: $200,000 – $250,000 USD annually (base + variable)
Early-stage equity opportunity
Direct impact on company strategy and GTM as a founding team member
This is an on-site role based in San Francisco, CA. Candidates should be local or willing to relocate.
