Job summary

Open Talent seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build production-grade LLM-powered systems spanning frontend UX, backend services, and ML pipelines. You will own features end to end, including React UIs, TypeScript services, and LLM reasoning pipelines.

You’ll collaborate with product, design and ML engineers to ship reliable, user-friendly tools, addressing latency, guardrails, and observability in real-world workflows. Hybrid NYC role.

Qualifications

• Senior Software Engineer with ML/LLM workflow experience.
• Proficient in React front-end and TypeScript services.
• Experience with LLM APIs, retrieval, and fine-tuning pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build TypeScript services powering LLM workflows (RAG, orchestration, fine-tuning).
• Develop rich React interfaces with a focus on UX and usability.
• Implement retrieval using vector databases and hybrid search.
