Job summary

Raydar is hiring a Founding Engineer to build the product from prototype to MVP launch. You will own the architecture across web, mobile, backend, cloud, and AI agents, with a hands-on 0-to-1 mandate and a clear path to technical leadership as the team grows.

You will ship production systems quickly, while ensuring security, reliability, and regulatory compliance, and you should expect to work remotely initially with near-term plans to be onsite in NYC or SF.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Track record shipping a product from zero to real users.
• End-to-end ability across React/React Native, TypeScript, backend services, Python, and cloud.
• Hands-on experience with AI agents or agentic workflows in production.
• Ownership of architecture for secure, reliable production systems.
• Strong product judgment and bias for action; first technical hire.
• Founding-team, full-time opportunity; able to work in NYC or SF within 12–18 months.

Responsibilities

• Build the MVP end to end across web, mobile, backend, data, and infrastructure.
• Integrate banking APIs, payment rails, card/lending systems, KYC/AML services.
• Design secure, resilient architecture for an agentic financial-services platform.
• Develop agentic workflows with deterministic logic, auditability, and compliance guardrails.
• Set engineering standards and coordinate with contract engineers.
• Deliver production systems rapidly while ensuring trust and regulatory compliance.
