Job summary

Hanover Park is hiring a Founding Design Engineer to own the craft of the product experience for back-office workflows in private markets. You'll ship production UI and prototype in code, balancing dense financial tasks with AI-assisted interactions.

You will own the design system, set standards for engineers, and collaborate directly with the founder team and product/ops. This is an on-site role in New York City, 5 days a week.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, shipping user-facing product code today.
• Exceptional taste: interaction design that stands out, not just function.
• Strong full-stack fluency, from database to UI, with frontend strength.
• Experience with complex UI/UX: dense data, multi-step workflows, edge cases.

Responsibilities

• Own the craft and interaction quality end-to-end in dense financial workflows.
• Design and build interaction patterns for AI-assisted workflows.
• Own the design system and tooling; set standards for engineers.
