Job summary

BuildQ, Inc. is seeking a Founding Engineer to join a two-person engineering team and help define the product from day one. You’ll ship to production on your first day and influence architecture across Rails, Python, React, TS, Postgres, and AWS in a fully remote setting.

The role is full-time in a seed-stage company, and includes equity in addition to your $130k–$150k salary. We value fast execution, ownership, and strong collaboration with the CTO and early team.

Hey folks! I'm Dylan, CTO at BuildQ, and we're building out our founding eng team. Today, a $200M solar project sits for weeks while someone reads thousands of PDFs before it can be financed. We make that review fast: customers order diligence from us, our agents do the work, and an expert signs off. We've processed 200,000+ documents across 1,100+ projects so far. We're looking for a Founding Engineer to join 2 of us on the engineering team. You'll ship to production on your first day, and you'll help shape what the future of BuildQ looks like.
