Job summary

Raydar is hiring a founding engineer to design and ship core backend features in a distributed systems codebase, owning reliability across major cloud providers. You will work directly with technical customers to help them close deals, produce documentation, and shape public-facing interfaces and code.

Qualifications

• Experience at a developer infrastructure startup.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Cloud engineering experience with major providers, container orchestration and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of Rust or Go, with Rust preferred.
• Self-motivated, with a drive to take ownership as part of a founding team.

• Create the underlying platform pieces and scalable server-side logic, mainly in a low-level systems language.
• Design for failure modes and edge cases across multiple cloud providers.
• Move quickly by directing AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.
