Job summary

Centerpoint Medical Center in the Kansas City metro region seeks a founding Emergency Medicine Program Director to establish its EM Residency Program. The role includes clinical and faculty leadership, developing the residency, and achieving initial ACGME accreditation.

The candidate must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine, with experience in EM residency education, and capable of obtaining Missouri licensure. Administrative and clinical duties will be shared 50/50 as the program grows.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in emergency medicine.
• 3+ years as core faculty, associate PD, or chair in an ACGME EM residency.
• Ability to obtain Missouri licensure.
• Work on initial ACGME accreditation via application.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical and faculty development for the ED and residency.
• Balance 50% administrative duties with 50% clinical responsibilities.
• Collaborate with faculty to evaluate residents against ACGME milestones.
