Job summary

Livewell Animal Urgent Care Hospital of Boys Town seeks a Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian to establish a gold-standard medical culture and own the hospital’s success. You will mentor a growing team and drive excellence in urgent care across medicine, surgery, and dentistry.

This leadership role requires a DVM and a Nebraska license, with the opportunity to build a hospital serving Boys Town and surrounding communities in west Omaha.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Current experience as a veterinarian in a clinical setting with a foundation in medicine, surgery and dentistry.

Located in the rapidly growing Boys Town corridor, this future Livewell Animal Urgent Care Hospital of Boys Town will serve one of the Omaha metro's fastest-expanding communities.

This is more than a leadership role; it's an opportunity to build and lead a practice with the full backing of an established network. As the Founding Partner & Lead Veterinarian, you will be the cornerstone of the hospital, responsible for establishing a gold-standard medical culture, mentoring your team, and driving the business's success as a true owner. • Build a Thriving Practice Culture: Establish a client-first, collaborative culture that reflects the needs of one of west Omaha's fastest-growing communities. As the Founding DVM, you'll set the tone for medical excellence, exceptional service, and a workplace where both your team and clients feel genuinely connected.
• Lead and Mentor Your Medical Team: Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of veterinarians and support staff, building a hospital culture that attracts top talent and delivers outstanding urgent care to the growing pet-owning communities of Boys Town, Elkhorn, Millard, Bennington, and northwest Omaha.
• Drive Medical and Surgical Excellence: Establish the hospital's standard of care, ensuring every patient receives exceptional medicine while mentoring your team in surgery, dentistry, and evidence-based clinical decision-making. You'll have the opportunity to build a reputation as the trusted urgent care destination for pets across west Omaha.
• Partner in Business Ownership: You will work directly with your Hospital Manager to manage the hospital's financial performance, making strategic decisions that drive top-line revenue growth and position the hospital as a long-term community resource.

What You'll Bring to the Team

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and a license in good standing to practice in Nebraska.
