Job summary

Asymptote Labs in the United States seeks a Founding Developer Relations Lead to shape the open-source community around Beacon and AI agent security. You will grow the community, create technical content, drive adoption, build the ecosystem, and influence product roadmaps, working directly with the founders.

This high-autonomy, founding-stage role offers significant equity and a competitive base salary. If you love shipping code as much as speaking at meetups, you will lead the DevRel function

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Developer Relations or a similarly technical GTM role.
• Experience at a high-growth AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or cybersecurity company.
• Strong software engineering background with the ability to build production-ready demos and contribute to open-source codebases.
• Proven track record of creating technical content that drives developer adoption (blogs, talks, videos, workshops, or tutorials).
• Experience growing an open-source community or developer ecosystem.
• Exceptional technical communication skills—you can explain complex systems to developers without oversimplifying.
• High agency and excited to build Asymptote’s DevRel function from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Grow and nurture the Beacon open-source community.
• Contribute code, examples, integrations, and tooling to the project.
• Build relationships with OSS maintainers, AI tooling companies, and security practitioners.
• Become a trusted voice within the AI, developer, and cybersecurity communities.
• Represent Asymptote at conferences, hackathons, meetups, podcasts, and technical events.
