Namely is seeking a Founding Designer in New York to lead product design and collaborate closely with engineers and the founder. Job description

Founding Designer

We’re hiring a founding product designer who has strong visual instincts & a high attention to detail.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team on the cutting edge of restaurant tech, working with the most exciting brands in the industry to define the future of hospitality.

What you will do

• Own and drive the complete product design for our product
• Collaborate with engineers to build products for our users
• Collaborate with founder on brand identity and its translation into product design
• Set design standards, tooling, and culture as the foundation for years of future growth
• Meet with clients to understand user workflows, pain points, and existing solutions
• Bonus: experience in brand and graphic design

What you’ll bring

• Track record of designing products from 0 to 1
• Have a strong portfolio demonstrating a generalist design skills
• Interest in the hospitality, restaurant, or F&B industry
• Ownership mindset and ability to define design milestones and priorities
