SyntheticFi, a YC-backed company, is hiring a Founding Data Analyst to join the Growth and Operations teams and help build the data foundation powering its hyper-growth. This early-stage, high-impact role involves data wrangling, pipelines, and metrics across the business.

You'll work with the founders and cross-functional teams to shape reporting, analytics, and workflow automation across onboarding, billing, and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a highly analytical field (CS, data science, statistics, quantitative). 1–3 years in data/analytics/systems roles.
• Strong SQL and programming skills (Python/R/Java/Scala) and Excel/Sheets proficiency.
• Ability to solve problems with attention to detail and cross-functional communication.
• Familiarity with modern data engineering tools (dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Snowflake, BigQuery, AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Build and improve core data systems across Growth, Revenue, and Operations.
• Partner with founders to monitor processes and track SLAs for onboarding, support, and billing.
• Design and automate workflows to scale data, analytics, and reporting.
