Job summary

eNGINE is hiring a founding Data Engineer to build a Snowflake-based data platform for an HVAC/building automation marketplace. You will design the data architecture, lead data strategy, and implement scalable pipelines and dashboards.

You will own end-to-end data solutions, from ingestion to governance, and partner with engineering and leadership to translate business needs into scalable data products.

Qualifications

• Proficient Python for data pipelines, integrations, and automation.
• Expert SQL skills with complex joins, window functions, and data modeling.
• Experience building multi-source ELT pipelines using Airbyte/Fivetran.
• Strong ownership mentality in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and own a modern data platform centered on Snowflake.
• Develop ELT pipelines from Salesforce, HubSpot, Acumatica, and other sources.
• Build and maintain dbt Core models across staging to gold layers.
• Create unified data models for customers, products, revenues, and more.
• Develop Python-based data synchronization jobs and APIs to expose data.
