Job summary

raydar in New York, NY is seeking a founding Data Engineer to shape the product's data layer from day one. You will design ingestion pipelines, build a flexible data warehouse, and develop ETL workflows that turn customer records into reportable data.

You'll work closely with the CTO, translate complex data topics for non-technical stakeholders, and help automate onboarding processes in an early-stage company. Equity is included, with a hybrid in-office schedule in New York.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering a working data platform in Python and SQL.
• Ability to translate complex data topics for non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on ETL development (data moves, deduplication, record matching).
• Familiarity with relational databases and cloud analytics warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Design and build data ingestion pipelines and matching logic.
• Architect a data warehouse for flexible, trustworthy reporting.
• Build tools to reconcile and integrate data across systems.
• Work with the CTO to shape the core system of record.
• Turn onboarding into a repeatable, automated process.
