Job summary

Storm3 is seeking a Founding Data Engineer in NYC (On-Site) to own and build the data foundation from the ground up. You will lead from architecture to operations, shaping the data platform for AI-powered marketing measurement.

You will work closely with Product, AI, Media, and Customer teams to design scalable ingestion and attribution pipelines, tackling identity resolution and data quality at scale.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Python and SQL for data engineering tasks.
• Experience building production-grade data pipelines and data platforms.
• Familiarity with modern cloud data stacks and data warehousing tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the cloud data platform end-to-end.
• Design scalable ingestion, transformation, and attribution pipelines.
• Address identity resolution and data quality at scale.
• Lay the foundation for campaign measurement, experimentation, and AI-driven insights.

They’re looking for their first Data Engineer to own and build the entire data foundation from the ground up.

• Build and own the cloud data platform end-to-end

Ideal background:

• Strong Python + SQL
• Experience building production-grade data platforms and ETL/ELT pipelines
• Expertise with modern cloud data stacks (BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, etc.)
• Comfortable working with messy, high-volume third-party data
• Startup mentality with a desire to own problems from 0-1
