Job summary

CBSbutler is assisting a leading US fintech joint venture to recruit a data engineer for the founding Data Engineering team in Ohio. The role focuses on building the data backbone powering large-scale data processing, ML and AI initiatives from day one.

You will work on Databricks-driven pipelines, modern data stack components, and scalable data architecture while collaborating with finance and tech specialists in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time on-site position.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of commercial experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on Databricks experience is essential.
• Strong skills across the modern data stack for ETL/ELT, distributed processing, cloud data platforms, and high-throughput data modelling.
• Ability to translate messy data problems into clean, scalable production solutions.
