Job summary

Synaipse Inc. is seeking a founding Chief Operating Officer to build the operational backbone of the company from the ground up in Cincinnati.

You will own go-to-market, partnerships, finance, and the systems that let a small team execute beyond its size, reporting directly to the CEO. You'll establish the first enterprise contract framework, sales playbooks, vendor relationships, and hiring rubric, shaping long-term operations and growth for a healthcare-focused startup with physician

Qualifications

• 8+ years in operations, strategy, or business development, with 3+ years in a leadership role at a high-growth startup or healthcare company.
• Experience bringing a B2B SaaS or healthcare product to market, from early stage to revenue milestones.
• Deep understanding of payer dynamics, practice operations, physician-owned credentialing workflows, or revenue cycle management.
• Built and led cross-functional teams in fast-paced, resource-constrained environments.
• Strong financial acumen, with P&L ownership, fundraising, and investor relations.
• Bias toward action: ship an 80% solution today rather than a perfect one next quarter.

Responsibilities

• Go-to-market strategy and execution: identify target customer segments, build the sales pipeline, and close deals with independent practices, surgical groups, and health systems.
• Strategic partnerships with EHR vendors, payer organizations, medical societies, and healthcare technology platforms.
• Financial planning and operations: budgeting, forecasting, fundraising support, and unit economics.
• Operational infrastructure: the processes, tools, and workflows that let a small team execute at enterprise scale.
• Team building: recruit, hire, and develop the founding team across sales, customer success, and operations.
