Job summary

Deliverome Bio, a nonprofit startup building an open atlas of surface protein abundance, is seeking a Principal Scientist to own the computational side of our proteomics platform. You will design scalable pipelines, QC, and data infrastructure used by bench scientists and collaborators worldwide.

This role spans data model, provenance, and integration with public resources, with early ownership from the first sample onward.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent depth built in industry in computational biology or proteomics.
• Extensive experience with large-scale bottom-up proteomics data.
• Proficient in modern search/quantification stacks (Spectronaut, DIA-NN, etc.).
• Experience running analyses at scale with containerized workflows (Nextflow, Snakemake, etc.).
• Strong Python and Git for reproducible pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable proteomics analysis pipelines and metadata tracking.
• Own stack decisions: search software, orchestration, compute and storage.
• Build data model and provenance for reproducibility.
• Create QC reports and dashboards for bench scientists.
• Deposit data to public repositories and co-author methods papers.
