Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Founding Operations Leader for its broker-dealer entity to architect and scale the in-house operations, ensuring FINRA/SEC compliance and safeguarding customer assets.

You will define objectives, policies and workflows, build an AI-native control environment, partner with Engineering, Legal, Compliance and FP&A, and drive reconciliations, reporting, and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial operations, treasury or back-office roles with leadership experience.
• Licensing: FINRA SIE + Series 7 and Series 24, or ability to obtain quickly.
• Knowledge of SEC rules and regulatory reporting; strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish foundational operational architecture for the broker-dealer and scale money movement and trade clearing.
• Serve as final authority on operational exceptions and manage complex settlements with regulatory impact.
• Design and maintain ICOC controls, data integrity, and audit-ready processes across the back office.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, FinOps and FP&A to align operations with product and regulatory needs.
