Job summary

Phonely in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Design Lead to own the brand across the product, marketing, and campaigns. You’ll establish a single visual direction and build the system that scales with the company as it grows.

You’ll ship the site in Webflow, define tokens and components, and help the team present a consistent identity to customers, investors, and partners. This is the first design hire, so you’ll set the standards, defend a direction in plain language, and evolve the

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing brand systems and the marketing surfaces built on them.
• You wrote the brand rules document, not just a logo.

Responsibilities

• Own the identity across surfaces and set the rules.
• Build the design system with tokens, components and templates.
• Bring the product onto the system and align frontend implementation.
• Make call flows and funnels legible through visuals.
• Ship and test the marketing site with live forms.
• Lead launches including campaign assets and customer stories.
• Set the standard for executive communication formats.
