Vilya Systems, Inc. is looking for a Founding Motor Engineer & Business Lead to design and build a new line of BLDC motors primarily for gimbal applications. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in motor design and manufacturing, hands-on skills, and a proven track record of scaling production lines. This contract position will transition to a founding engineer role with equity. Remote work is possible; onsite presence will be needed during build-out of production in specific locations.

Formación

• 10+ years in BLDC motor design and manufacturing, shipment experience required.
• Deep electromagnetics knowledge and ability to spec lamination and winding.
• Experience with hands-on aspects of motor manufacturing.
• Proven capability in scaling motor production lines from prototypes to high volumes.
• Experience in supplier qualification and country-of-origin specification.
• Comfortable in a fast-cycle, small-team setting.

Responsabilidades

• Design BLDC motors primarily for gimbal applications.
• Stand up a motor production line, improving specifications and processes.
• Qualify domestic suppliers and manage compliance with regulations.
• Shape external roadmaps and achieve design wins with customers.
