Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong motor assembly and subcomponents knowledge, particularly in motor materials.
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with AS9100 quality system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support new designs and improvements for electric motors.
• Work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.
• Provide technical support for internal departments.

Skills

Motor assembly and subcomponents knowledge

AC induction motors

Pulse width modulated brushless DC (BLDC) motors

Material knowledge (electrical steel, magnets, etc.)

GD&T expertise

Excellent communication skills

Motor design experience

Ability to summarize work to management

Evaluation and testing of materials

Software for magnetic FEA solver

Experience with Ansys Motor CAD

Education

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Mechanical or related field

Master’s degree preferred
