In this role, you will receive shipments, organize merchandise, maintain backroom operations, and support a fast-paced, high-volume environment while ensuring safety and accuracy in every task.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Verify merchandise counts, organize receiving reports, and route merchandise to appropriate areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and receiving area.
• Track and process claims, including damaged goods and returned merchandise.
• Prepare and manage clearance and liquidation items.
• Operate equipment safely and follow all company safety standards and guidelines.
• Conduct safety checks and report unsafe conditions to management.
• Support inventory accuracy, reduce shrink, and maintain proper merchandise handling.

As a Backroom Associate at Sam’s Club, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring products are received, processed, and moved to the sales floor efficiently. Your work helps maintain inventory accuracy, reduce shrink, and ensure members have access to the products they need.
