Job summary

Sam’s Club Katy is opening a brand-new club and seeks reliable, detail-oriented individuals to help bring it to life. As a founding associate, you’ll shape the member experience, support club operations, and build a culture of excellence from day one.

You will play a critical role in keeping the backroom running, receiving shipments, organizing merchandise, and supporting a fast-paced environment while ensuring safety and accuracy in every task.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process shipments in accordance with company procedures.
• Verify merchandise counts, organize receiving reports, and route merchandise to appropriate areas.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe backroom and receiving area.
• Track and process claims, including damaged goods and returned merchandise.
• Operate equipment safely and follow all company safety standards and guidelines.
