Raydar is hiring a Founding Software Engineer in New York to build backend systems for a regulated fintech platform. You will own key components, shape the technical direction of a small team, and design scalable services end to end.

You will design AI-enabled workflows, extend the ledger, and integrate with payment providers, while partnering with the founders to convert user pain into requirements. On-site five days a week with equity consideration.

Qualifications

• Design and build automated workflows for regulated financial operations.
• Extend an accounting ledger with correct DB and API enforcement.
• Create evaluation tooling and test pipelines for AI-assisted features.
• Collaborate with founders to translate user pain into requirements and backlog.

Responsibilities

• Own initiatives end to end, from planning to release.
• Build integrations with payment providers and financial institutions.
• Design security-focused infrastructure including authentication and audit logging.
• Contribute to frontend work to simplify complex financial structures.
