Job summary

ClickHouse is seeking a backend-focused engineer to own end-to-end integrations in a remote, globally distributed team. You will define architectural defaults, own production systems, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

You should have strong experience with data-heavy systems, modern authentication, and building on external platforms with limited documentation. Collaboration and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building software, with data-heavy or integration-flavored systems.
• Strong backend/system instincts: deployment topology, multi-tenancy, data movement.
• Experience with modern auth protocols, service principals, identity federation.
• Experience building on external platforms with incomplete docs and breaking changes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end integration design, code, and production system.
• Set technical defaults for a growing team and influence architecture decisions.
• Maintain on-call duties and own infrastructure, CI, deployment, and observability.
• Collaborate with internal teams, define interfaces, and unblock work.
