NVIDIA is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to lead the AI Safety & Security Engineering team, owning the core harness architecture and baseline standards. You will guide the roadmap from prototypes to production pipelines, collaborating with managers and evaluation teams to balance innovation with reliability.

You will bridge research and production, review designs, and foster quality and safety in code. This role shapes long-term security-centric AI systems and the careers of founding engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with 18+ years designing and building complex systems.
• Deep experience architecting distributed systems, ML pipelines, or large-scale platforms.
• Record of turning research into production-grade engineering.
• Ability to align engineers and researchers on one technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Define the canonical harness architecture and component baseline.
• Set the engineering standards the team builds on.
• Guide the Find, Validate, and Patch technical roadmap.
• Mentor founding engineers and support their growth.
