NVIDIA seeks a Distinguished Engineer to found and lead the AI Safety & Security Engineering team. You will own the core harness architecture and baseline engineering standards, guiding prototypes to a dependable production platform and shaping a long-term technical roadmap.

You will mentor engineers, review designs, and ensure safety and code quality without slowing velocity. This is a foundational, collaborative leadership role at NVIDIA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 18+ years designing complex systems.
• Deep experience architecting distributed systems, ML pipelines, or large-scale platforms.
• Proven track record turning research into production-grade engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define canonical harness architecture and component baseline.
• Set engineering standards the team builds on.
• Guide the Find, Validate, and Patch technical roadmap.
• Mentor founding engineers and support their growth.
