United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Founding Applied AI Engineer to shape the future of AI-powered leadership coaching for large enterprises. You will work with our Head of AI and cross-functional teams to design, build, and refine intelligent systems delivering context-aware, personalized coaching at enterprise scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, and data-intensive systems with an advanced degree.
• Familiarity with language systems (NLP) and model behavior evaluation.
• Experience with NumPy, scikit-learn, Pandas, PySpark, SQL and data visualization tools.
• Cloud deployment experience and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build enterprise-grade AI and conversational systems for coaching workflows.
• Develop, evaluate, and refine LLM-based components for production use.
• Integrate diverse data sources to improve contextual understanding and output quality.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and design to translate user needs into solutions.
• Rapidly prototype systems spanning backend, data pipelines, and frontend as needed.
• Build tooling, tests and automation for reliable model deployment and observability.
• Support data and science workflows enabling fast experimentation and decisions.
• Demonstrate growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
