Job summary

Clera is looking for an early founding engineer to own the entire product surface—from user conversations to shipped production features—with no legacy code and no pre-written roadmap.

You will design and build core platform infrastructure for agentic AI workforces, talk to users, and make architectural decisions as one of the first technical voices at the company. Expect visa sponsorship and full relocation to SF by 2027.

Qualifications

• Proven track record shipping real products to real users.
• Product-engineer mindset: define the problem, own the solution, ship end to end.
• AI-native: comfortable using AI coding tools at high velocity.
• Broad product-engineering experience relevant to agentic systems or agent-building infrastructure.
• Prior experience founding a company or joining a startup at a very early stage.
• Exceptional intensity and execution instincts for first technical hires.
• Must relocate to San Francisco by January 2027 (firm requirement).

Responsibilities

• Design and build core platform infrastructure end to end.
• Talk directly to users, define outcomes, ship features without tickets or specs.
• Make architectural and product decisions as an early technical voice.
• Ship to production from week one and iterate based on feedback.
• Leverage AI tooling to move quickly with the team.
