Job summary

Clera is seeking an engineer to join as one of the first specialized engineers building core systems powering an agent-driven integration platform. You will own critical components across the agent platform, infrastructure, and runtime integrations with the founding team.

The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, end-to-end delivery, collaboration with founders, and shaping system architecture as the product evolves. On-site in San Francisco, California.

Qualifications

• 2 to 9 years of professional software engineering experience with hands on ownership of production systems.
• Strong CS fundamentals and experience shipping end to end software across platforms, infrastructure, and runtimes.
• Comfort using multiple AI coding agents and maintaining production quality and reliability.
• Experience in a fast paced early stage environment and willingness to work closely with a small founding team.

Responsibilities

• Own core systems end to end from design to production deployment.
• Define engineering patterns and best practices that shape future hires and projects.
• Collaborate directly with founders to ship features and improvements to production on a regular cadence.
• Help shape the system architecture as the product evolves.
