Ruli is building an all-in-one legal intelligence platform in San Francisco. You will join an early engineering team, own core systems, and ship production features daily, focusing on search, ranking, and AI-driven legal workflows.

The role requires 0-5 years of experience, proficiency in Python and Typescript, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a strong emphasis on hands-on execution. SF-based collaboration and equity are part of the package.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Startup exposure or ex-founder experience is required for this role.
• Proficient in Python and Typescript.
• Familiarity with serverless infrastructure and LLM prompt engineering.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and document-heavy systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale search and ranking systems.
• Develop next generation agentic AI legal workflow.
• Work closely with product engineers to translate customer needs into features, we SHIP DAILY.
• Work on AI pipelines, OCR, and RAG.
