Qualifications

• 3+ years software engineering experience is required.
• Strong full-stack background is essential.
• Experience with Next.js/TypeScript and/or LLM/AI agents is preferred.
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy in an early-stage environment.

I'm working with an exciting AI-native legal startup that is rethinking how startups access legal services.

They've already grown to 1,000+ client companies and are now looking for a Founding Engineer to join the early engineering team and help build the next generation of AI-powered legal products and workflows.

The role:

• Build AI agents, legal workflows and core product
• Full-stack ownership across frontend, backend and AI/ML
• Work directly with startup attorneys and real customers
• Significant influence over architecture and technical direction

Looking for:

• 3+ years software engineering experience
• Strong full-stack background
• Next.js / TypeScript and/or LLM/AI agent experience
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy in an early-stage environment

Location: SoHo, NYC - 3+ days/week in office

Comp: $125K-$220K + equity
