Job summary

Stackpoint is a venture studio creating and funding 3-4 AI-powered companies annually, and the founding engineer role coordinates with the CEO, product leadership, and a small engineering team to take a platform from its first customers to scalable production.

You will own end-to-end AI-native features, including extraction, orchestration, client-facing interfaces, and security/compliance considerations, helping shape the next wave of workflows for early customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering in startup or high-ownership environments.
• At least one product shipped from blank page to production.
• Production LLM integrations: extraction, RAG, and agentic workflows.
• Data pipelines that take unstructured documents into SQL and vector stores.
• Hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Build new workflows and products from scratch with cross-functional teams.
• Scale the platform from first customers to many, optimizing performance and cost.
• Ship agentic AI workflows with structured outputs and guardrails.
• Integrate with legacy systems and build reusable integration patterns.
• Build internal ops console and client-facing B2B experience.
