Job summary

DeployCo, The OpenAI Deployment Company, is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise AI deployments. You will own technical and business outcomes end‑to‑end, guiding strategy, building reusable tooling, and mentoring teammates. This is a founder-level role with growth toward management.

SF or NYC, hybrid (3 days/week), relocation assistance, and travel up to 50% are provided. 4+ years of delivery experience and strong JavaScript or Python across full stack are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering and technical delivery experience.
• 0→1 experience building under ambiguity.
• Production-grade JavaScript or Python across frontend and backend.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical lead on high-stakes deployments.
• Guide deployment strategy and help define DeployCo's operating model.
• Build reusable deployment primitives, tools and playbooks.
