Job summary

Supermove in San Francisco is hiring a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to help build and lead our FDE function alongside the founders. You’ll write production code, deploy AI solutions, and solve real customer problems at enterprise scale.

You’ll work directly with large customers, design AI workflows, and turn field learnings into reusable platform capabilities. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic impact in a small, fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
• Experience building with APIs, databases, and integrations.
• Experience with LLMs, AI agents, or AI-powered workflows.
• Proven ability to own projects end-to-end from design to deployment.
• Comfortable working directly with customers to gather requirements.
• Ability to lead without formal authority and coordinate teams.
• Willingness to learn new systems in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the FDE function, establishing engineering practices for deploying AI at enterprise scale.
• Ship production code by improving AI agents and core product capabilities.
• Lead technical deployments for major accounts from discovery to go-live.
• Design AI solutions for real operations, fitting Voice Agents/Autopilot into customer needs.
• Make AI agents work reliably by reviewing and refining prompts and code.
• Turn customer problems into reusable product improvements across deployments.
• Deliver measurable results by using data to drive impact and scale.
