You’ll help shape Flint’s GTM strategy and contribute to the playbook with real-world feedback. Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in customer-facing roles with quota experience, strong communication, and a bias for action.
Full-time
New York City
Compensation: $125K OTE (approx. $85K base + $40K variable, tied to qualified demos booked), plus meaningful early-stage equity
AI is forcing the biggest rethink of teaching since the internet reached the classroom, and every school on earth has to make its call within the next few years.
Flint exists to help them get it right. Founded in 2023, we've partnered with 250+ schools across the US and abroad, and our next market is the biggest, hardest prize in education: US school districts.
If we succeed, we’ll shape how thousands of schools adopt AI over the next decade.
When a district starts working out its AI strategy, someone at Flint gets to be their first real conversation. That's you.
Our GTM Engineering team owns the automated side of outbound: sourcing leads, enriching data, and building sequences that put Flint on a school leader's radar. Your job starts where automation stops. You'll own the conversations that determine whether Flint earns an hour of a district's time.
Your goal is simple to describe and difficult to execute: turn warm interest into qualified demos with the people who can actually make decisions.
In practice, that means mapping stakeholders, running thoughtful discovery, and helping district leaders see why Flint deserves a second conversation. Every interaction also makes us better. You'll tell us which messages resonate, which objections matter, and which buyers convert so our playbook gets sharper every week.
We'd rather tell you now than surprise you in month two. This job lives on the phone. You'll spend real hours threading your way up from a curious principal to the superintendent who can say yes, and you'll hear a lot of "no" on the way. Some of our schools are overseas, and some of the markets we open next will be too, which means there will be weeks where you're taking a call at an hour your friends find alarming.
Why sign up for that? Because when a district gets AI right and you're the reason they walked in the door, that's thousands of students whose education just changed because you picked up the phone. Most sales jobs cannot say that. This one can.
We're starting with US districts because they're our largest opportunity and our hardest sale. But Flint also sells to independent schools, international schools, and faith-based schools, and we're growing overseas.
Each time we open a new market, someone has to run the playbook first. If you master districts, that someone is you. It might mean a new vertical, a new country, or a full-cycle closing role. And if you find yourself more drawn to GTM engineering, growth systems, or sales ops instead, we'll back that too.
Progression here is based on performance, not tenure. Narrow goal, wide-open horizon.
