Job summary

Qonfido seeks a data-oriented intern to support the founder's office by gathering, analyzing, and presenting data that shapes product decisions. You will bridge product strategy and execution, synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations, and contribute to roadmap planning and go-to-market strategy.

You will conduct user research, translate feedback into specifications, and own analytics projects end-to-end, from metric definition to delivering findings.

About the role:

• Support the founder's office by gathering, analyzing, and presenting data that shapes product decisions
• Bridge product strategy and execution by synthesizing complex information into actionable recommendations
• Contribute to product roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and go-to-market strategy
• Conduct user research, synthesize feedback, and translate insights into product specifications
• Own analytics projects end-to-end, from defining success metrics to delivering findings

What you'll work on:

• Building dashboards and running analyses to track product performance and user behavior
• Documenting requirements, user stories, and design specifications for product teams
• Researching market trends, competitor activity, and user needs in fintech or consumer apps
• Testing AI workflows and tools to identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Collaborating with product, engineering, and design teams on cross-functional initiatives
• Preparing reports and presentations for leadership review and decision-making

What we're looking for:

• Currently in your final year of an undergraduate or postgraduate program, or a recent graduate
• Academic background in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Design, or quantitative fields
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and comfort learning basic data analysis
• Strong ability to write clearly and communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences
• Self-directed, organized, and comfortable making decisions with incomplete information
• Genuine interest in AI tools and how they can streamline work
• Based in India and available to work full-time or near full-time for 3–6 months in IST

Bonus experience:

• Previous internship in a startup, consulting firm, product team, analytics function, or strategy role
• Led a personal project, campus organization, or research initiative with clear accountability
• Written product specifications, conducted user interviews, or launched a product or feature
• SQL, Python, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Looker
• Figma, Canva, or basic programming experience
• Background or passion in fintech, consumer applications, or personal finance
