Job summary

TGR Foundation seeks a founding Executive Director to build and lead a new Atlanta Learning Lab. You will drive fundraising, establish local governance, and forge partnerships with education, corporate, philanthropic, and civic leaders in the city.

You will recruit and coach a local team, align with national program and development teams, and ensure exceptional programming while scaling impact and resources in a fast-growing multi-market model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Proven fundraising track record with six- and seven-figure gifts.
• Experience building and leading teams and external relationships.
• Strong strategic thinking, executive presence, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multi-million-dollar budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead the local fundraising plan and personally solicit major gifts.
• Build and manage a high-performing local team and advisory board.
• Develop partnerships with schools, foundations, and corporations.
• Collaborate with the national Development team to align local and national strategies.
• Oversee program delivery, operations, and outcomes for the Lab.
