Job summary

Anysphere, Inc. is seeking a founding member for the Startup Events and Community team to drive Cursor for Startups growth by turning strategy into high-impact programs for Seed–Series B startups.

You’ll directly engage founders, shape events, hackathons, and co-hosted moments to boost product usage and advocacy. Based in our San Francisco office, this in-person role requires a builder mindset, strong storytelling, and the ability to travel ~20% to host events and connect with founders

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years in field, community, event, growth, or revenue marketing.
• Builder mindset: self-starter who can build a program from scratch and optimize with data.
• Community obsession: enjoy being around founders and builders with authentic engagement.
• Storytelling: sharp, credible, founder-native communication.

Responsibilities

• Design the startup events playbook and data-driven marketing plan for Seed–Series B startups.
• Own the founder funnel and footprint through founder events, hackathons, roundtables, and activations.
• Build ecosystem relationships with VCs, accelerators, and startup partners to reach portfolio founders.
• Create authentic engagement formats, avoiding vendor-sell approaches.
• Surface founder stories and amplify advocacy in events to position Cursor as a trusted partner.
