Job summary

Michels Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support successful project completion, starting on-site with the crew and ensuring daily needs are met. You will document and enter records, then plan for upcoming days to set the crew and project up for success.

You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, communicating clearly to keep projects aligned and on track. Travel and attention to detail are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in construction management or civil engineering with 2+ years of related construction experience.
• Industrial and civil background preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Travel required; extensive travel of 80–90%.

Responsibilities

• On-site support with the crew to ensure daily needs are met.
• Document and record project information and plan ahead for next days.
• Communicate closely with Project Managers and Superintendents.
