Job summary

Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) seeks a Foundation Specialist to develop and execute fundraising strategies for annual donations and events across ministry foundations. This role handles donor inquiries, manages local mailings, appeals, events, online giving, stewardship and grateful patient initiatives, and memorial/tribute gifts across communities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, philanthropy, or a related field is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus five years' experience in fundraising, communications, sales/marketing, public relations or related field may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
  • 1-2 years of experience in fundraising, communications, sales/marketing or public relations is required.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute fundraising strategies for annual donations and fundraising events for one or more ministry foundations.
  • Manage donor and prospect inquiries and all local mailings, system and colleague appeals, event management and implementations, online giving, stewardship mailings/activities, memorials/tribute gifts, and grateful patient acquisition.
  • Collaborate with ministry donors and prospects to build donor pipelines and secure ongoing support.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, philanthropy, or related field
Five years' experience in fundraising, communications, sales/marketing or public relations in lieu of degree

Pay Range: $28.14 - $42.21 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.

Hospital Sisters Health System(HSHS) is seeking a Foundation Specialist to join our team. The Foundation Specialist is responsible for creating and executing fundraising strategies for annual donations and fundraising events for one or more specific ministry foundations. This role works with ministry donor and prospect inquiries and manages all local mailings, system and colleague appeals, event management and implementations, online giving, stewardship mailings/activities, memorials/tribute gifts, and grateful patient acquisition.

INTERNET SPEED REQUIREMENTS:

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, communications, philanthropy, or a related field is required.

Experience Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in fundraising, communications, sales/marketing or public relations is required. (This experience is in addition to experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree)
