Job summary

Groundworks is seeking a Service Technician to join our team. You will meet homeowners, assess needs, present systems, and earn base pay plus commissions while delivering reliable foundation repair and water management solutions.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, consultative selling, safety, and travel to customer sites. Training is provided; strong growth opportunities and company ownership incentives are included.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of proven sales experience preferred.
• Construction/Home Improvement experience preferred.
• Proven customer relations experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• A valid, non-restrictive Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Execute appointments scheduled with customers.
• Travel to customers' home based on assigned appointments.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and professionally represent Groundworks.
• Recommend additional products and services to enhance or improve original installation.
• Perform annual customer maintenance visits, examining work previously completed.
• Perform reactive service appointments, diagnose, and fix issues.
• Install additional products purchased by the customer as necessary.
• Adhere to safety regulations and procedures when carrying out responsibilities.
• Examine solutions installed by the company and determine warranty work as needed.
• Communicate status of each job and submit documentation to the Service Manager and customer.
